Websites for sme

Introducing Rapid®Press by Firestarter, a service that puts a website in the hands of an SME in two weeks, for less than $10,000.

Designed exclusively for small business owners, it's perfect for restaurant operators, professional services, trainers and IT companies who need a simple yet professional image for their firm.

Firestarter have over five years experience building sites for corporations like salesforce.com, SAP, and American Express.

Rapid®Press is customised to your business and includes a WordPress content management system. So you can publish on the fly and won’t incur costs when altering content.

Rapid®Press package includes

  • Templates. A choice of several design templates suited to your industry.
  • Prototype. Based on your unique business needs, your account manager will customise a template which best suits your industry, allowing you to closely follow the process and ensure you get exactly what you want.
  • Design and build. Includes page templates, contact forms, google map location, photo and video galleries, page sharing (includes email a friend), search functions, Google analytics, 3G optimised mobile site and more...
  • Social media. We will set up an account for you on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Flickr, and explain which of these types of social media will work best for your business.
  • Training. We provide one session of training (roughly 1-2 hours) on the CMS.

Here's how it works

  1. Complete and email back a brief document, explaining what you need.
  2. During three sessions, our marketing consultant will sit down with you and guide you through the decision-making process, enabling us to maximise your investment.
  3. Our consultant will recommend a template and functions which best suit your business. The consultant will walk you through a real, working prototype so you know that it works for you.
  4. Once the prototype is approved, we introduce you to one of our dedicated developers who will customise your site and take it live.

You will need to...

  • Provide your company logo and colours, preferrably in illustrator format.
  • Provide the text, images and video to go on the website before we begin production.
  • Upload the content yourself. We will teach you some basic html and image editing.
  • Purchase the URL + domain hosting directly.

Ask us for a formal quotation

If you are ready to get started, download and complete this brief sheet and email it back to us. One of our consultants will call you and organise a meeting.

puma life scoreboard iphone app

Puma life scoreboard iPhone apps lets users pit ideas, which others can vote for or against.

The app is the latest component of the Puma Social campaign, celebrating the "after-hours" athlete.

The new online and mobile platform allows users to create instant scoreboards on the fly, to rate anything they do, with anyone they interact with. The scoreboards live on Lifescoreboard.com.

manslator video

I've seen a few of these kinds of videos like Manslator, where businesses use fake products to attract attention to their service offer. Manslator is a video that examines differences between the sexes.

converse sampler app

Created for Converse is an augemented reality app called The Sampler, which allows consumers to check out a Converse shoe's aesthetic value, without visiting a store. Just hold the iPhone over your foot. Only problem is you'll never know how the shoe feels. That will be in the next app generation.

Firestarter loves creating apps like this

Kind of reminds of the augmented reality app for Tissot. http://www.firestarter.com.sg/fs_blog_entry.php?id=281

sideways scrolling website

Rarely do I see websites that make effective use of sideways scrolling. They are normally at the expense of user experience. However, today a colleague pointed me to http://www.ohopenhouse.com/.

Fantastic. Makes great use of sideways scrolling. The site uses a linear narrative, so sideways scrolling is a viable solution. In addition, the site is programmed using basic code, so it works cross browser.
